Wednesday November 11th at 17:00 and 20:00 hrsThomas Stanghelle's opera-musical Some Sunny Night was performed in Lillesand, Møglestuhallen. Alexander Rybak played the part as "Ketil Moe" and Thomas Stanghelle played the part as "Mark Wang" from China. About 150 international artists took part in this performance as a 10-year memorial perfromance for the "marathon-hero" Ketil Moe (1966-99). Also Her Majesty Queen Sonja of Norway was invited. Also this year NRK were auctioning away both guest spots. All the inncom went to this year's TV campaign. Saturday August 29th Thomas Stanghelle gave two performances together with Lindesnes Trekkspillklubb August 29: "Ketil Moe's Mosjonsløp" in Kristiansand Dyrepark and at Aker Brygge, Oslo for the official opening of 5 new ships. Lillesands-Posten – Stemmningen på topp Friday August 28th Thomas Stanghelle and his 91 year old grandmother Mathilde Marker performed together with Lindesnes Trekkspillklubb at "Livsglede for eldre", Gimlehallen in Kristiansand. Saturday August 15th Thomas Stanghelle and his 91 year old grandmother Mathilde Marker performed together with Lindesnes Trekkspillklubb at Evje, "Landbrukets dag". Tuesday August 11th Thomas Stanghelle and his 91-year old grandmother Mathilde Marker achieved standing ovations at The Norwegian Opera in Bjørvika, as guest artists in Alexander Rybak's concert. Among other guest-artists were Arve Tellefsen, Dennis Storhøi, Elisabeth "Bettan" Andreassen, Hanne Krogh, Stephen Ackles and Barrat Due's Orchestra. Wednesday July 29th in Kr.sand DomkirkeOur annual summer concert, combined with birthday celebrations, was this year held as "Olsok-concert". Sunday June 21st Thomas Stanghelle performed together with Lindesnes Trekkspillklubb at the festival "Drømmen om Finnskogen". Tuesday June 18th Thomas Stanghelle performed his new written accordian opera text, based on "O sole mio", on the Norwegian television show kalled "God morgen Norge" on TV 2. 
Monday June 15thThomas Stanghelle performed parts from his opera-musical "Some Sunny Night" at the 5th World Congress in Rehabilitation Medicine in Istanbul, Turkey. Mark Wang from China and professor Johan Stanghelle also took part in the presentation. Se pictures here. After 11 years of struggle Lindesnes Trekkspillklubb and Thomas Stanghelle, who made "The Accordian Opera", finally have achieved their dream to perform in The Opera House in Bjørvika. Saturday June 13thThomas Stanghelle and Alexander Rybak celebrated the birthday of Rybak's parents with a special concert-show at Skoklafaldsalen at Nesodden. See pictures from the celebration here. Announcing before the concert. Both in Lillesand and Beijing there are plans to raise a statue of the Norwegian marathon-hero Ketil Moe (1966-99) and his collaborator Mark Wang from China. Thomas Stanghelle's opera-musical Some Sunny Night will be performed at these ceremonies. There is an ongoing debate in Norwegian media about the statues. Saturday March 7th Thomas and his 90 year old grandmother Mathilde performed in Grieghallen, Bergen, toghether with Lindesnes Trekkspillklubb.
