Saturday November 15th in Sola ruin church Mathilde at 90(!) sang together with her daugther, the mezzosopran Turid and grandson Thomas Stanghelle, tenor and composer of "The Ketil Moe-opera" and "The Accordion Opera". Through stories, humor and earnest; the show was a soul-stirring musical journey including opera, carols, trolls, gospel, hymns, musicals, accordion and self-composed music. Thomas and Lindesnes Trekkspillklubb performed an expanded repertoire together with a number of other artists. Some Sunny Night was performed at the Paralympics in Beijing by China Disabled Peoples's Performing Art Troupe "My Dream" and Thomas Stanghelle. Sunday August 31st Thomas S performed at Dølemomarkedet togheter with Trekkspillklubben. Sunday August 24th Thomas sang at Kirkefestspillene in Kristiansand Domkirke together with KSE. Sunday August 10th Thomas preformed excerpts of the "Accordion Opera" at Skaldyrfestivalen in Mandal together with Lidesnes Trekkspillklubb. Read more about it in Lindesnes Avis - in Norwegian. NRK made a story about Mark Wang - a handicapped Chinese Olympic torchbearer, who wants to direct the spotlight against the daily situation for other regular Chinese people with handicaps - see it here. This was the summer-cocert of the year, with Three generations Stanghelle, Lindesnes Trekkspillklubb, Hanne Krogh, Jørn Hoel, Ingunn Roland, Igor & Alexander Rybak. Saturday August 2nd. at Kristiansand Domkirke. The concert filled the whole cathedral with audience and lasted for about 2 hours and 45 minutes.
