November 1st, 2nd and 5thThomas Stanghelle's opera-musical Some Sunny Night was going to be performed in Beijng November 1st and 2nd and in Wuhan November 5th, but was cancelled after the announcement of the Nobel Peace Price. He performed highlights from his opera-musicals Some Sunny Night and "Mathilde fra Ramsøya" together with his 92-year old grandmother Mathilde Marker (soprano), and several other artists and dancers. Thomas Stanghelle also performed with Helene Bøksle and other guest-artists. Grim in ParisThomas Stanghelle was conducting the Music Orchestra Grim Musikkorps in Paris: in Disneyland June 24th and outside Notre Dame Cathedral June 25th. These performances included the first premiere of Stanghelle's new composition "Grim in Paris". Stanghelle and Grim Musikkorps also won the first price in a marching band competition April 30th in Spangereid, South of Norway. Friday June 11th Thomas Stanghelle, professor Johan Stanghelle and Mark Wang presented highlights from Some Sunny Night at a National Health Congress at the University of Oslo. Thursday May 27th at 9:03-10:00 AM Thomas Stanghelle guested the radio show "Mozart og Madonna" on NRK P2 . Stanghelle's song "Viva il sogno" was played in the same program. 
Premiere!Thomas Stanghelle's new musical "Mathilde from Ramsøya" had its premiere at Agder Theater in Kristiansand April 15th. The musical was also performed April 17th, with an extra performance April 16th.
