"Some Sunny Night"© was performed by 30 singers, guest artists and musicians from Norway along with orchestra and choir of The National Opera of China and Chinese guest-artists.
In addition to the audience and special invited guests who can see the performance live, millions of TV-viewers will follow the CCTV-coverage of "Some Sunny Night"©.
After the successful performance at Sunnaas Rehabilitation Hospital's 50-years anniversary, Thomas Stanghelle was invited to write a new and extended version of the opera-musical as a part of Mark Wang's nationwide campaign for handicapped people in China.

The arrangement in The Great Hall of the People was presented by All-China Women's Federation in co-operation with UNESCO.

"Some Sunny Night"© was also performed at Ningxia Congress Hall October 18th. in Mark Wang's hometown Yinchuan.

Daniel Bohr and Christian Lange were the directors of musicals like "Oliver", "Sound of Music", "Gummi Tarzan" and "Bugsy Malone" here in Norway.
Thomas S performed in all of these musicals.

Thomas S was in Beijing in January to plan a new CD-release, and concerts around China. The song "Angel of life" is used as the themesong in the TV-series "Hold up the blue sky of life" (20 episodes). The series is about the handicapped Mark Wangs life, after surviving a planecrash.
The TV-series will be broadcasted all over China later this year on CCTV

"Angel of life" is the themesong of a documentary program about Mark Wang on NRK.
The documentary was shown Saturday November 2nd. at 22:00 hrs on NRK1.
The program was also on NRK2 Friday Nov. 8th at 23:00 hrs.

Every year NRK is arranging a fundraiser called
"TV-aksjonen", and at this years TV-show Thomas S was one of the many TOP performers that participated.
Mark Wang was one of the interviewed guests.
The show was on NRK at Sunday October 20th.

Friday September 27th. Thomas S performed at a "CHINA - US - NORWAY seminar in rehabilitation" at Sunaas Sykehus, just outside Oslo.
There was an interwiev with Mark Wang, and a pre presentation of the TV-series from CCTV and NRK.
Many prominent guests came, among them the Ambassador of the Peoples Republic of China, and of USA.

Norsktoppen is a hitlist in Norway.
Thomas S got the first place the first 4 weeks, second place the next 4 weeks, a fourth place last week, and a third place this final week (there is a maximum of 10 weeks on the hitlist).
He entered the hitlist Saturday August 3rd, as a challenger, and won the first place!

Music from the CD Colony will be used in the making of a documantary on NRK about Mark Wangs life.
The producer of the documentary is Odd Borgestrand, and according to him it will be sent on NRK this fall.

The release concert in Oslo concert hall (Oslo Konserthus) was a big success! It was sold out, and an enthusiastic audience demanded several encores.
One of the highlights of the show was when handicapped Mark Wang from CCTV's "Hold up the blue sky of life" entered the stage during the theme song "Angel of life".

CCTV will be broadcasting the series "Hold up the blue sky of life" in 2003 all over China.

Tuesday 11/6 was a busy day on the Radio

On NRK P1 (Nitimen) and NRK PETRE (Kaliber).

The largest TV-channel in China CCTV is going to use a song
(Angel of life) from the album Colony as the theme song for a new TV-series about handicapped Mark Wangs life.
8 episodes were filmed here in Norway, and CCTV was filming at the release concert 13/6.
