Photo: © Odd Borgestrand (www.borgmedier.no) During this trip Thomas Stanghelle recorded new material to a forthcoming album featuring Chinese singer Xiao Yan. Together with Xiao Yan he also finished a new music video recorded in Beijing, and prepared for the mini-opera "Some Sunny Night" ©, by Thomas Stanghelle. Xiao Yan will be a guest-singer at the opera-performance September 13th, at Sunnaas Hospital in Norway. Thomas had meetings with the Norwegian Embassy of China, discussing future possibilities of bringing the opera "Some Sunny Night" into China 2005. There were also meetings with the worldwide media-company Bertelsmann. Handicapped Mark Wang is exclusively elected by this company for his work for other handicapped people, and Thomas Stanghelle who wrote the opera "Some Sunny Night" describing his story, will also be involved in future projects together with Mark Wang. Ningxia Film Company has now made a short version of the TV-series about Mark Wang, called "Hold up the blue sky of life". Thomas, who wrote the theme-song "Angel of life", will then soon be heard on European TV-channels. |
