International launch for the tv-series about Mark Wang. Thomas Stanghelle is responsible for the theme-music for the Norwegian-Chinese tv-series "Hold up the blue sky of life". About Mark Wang, that survived a planecrash, and later on got a scholarship for the United World College in Norway by Her Majesty Queen Sonja. The series has been shown in China for as much as 800 million tv-viewers on CCTV. The network reported that this series has been the third most viewed in China so far. Many tv-channels in the provinces are now broadcasting reruns of the series. The theme song "Angel of life" was made and performed by Thomas Stanghelle, and is very popular in China. Thomas is singing and participating in the tv-series, with his family that was kind of a host family for Mark Wang in Norway. HM Queen Sonja, prime minister Bondevik and Johann Olav Koss are also participating in the series. The international launch of the tv-series took place in China from Dec. 28th. until Jan. 2nd.
